About Aly

Aly Hollis lives in the sunny Southwest with her partner, two teenagers, and a calico cat named Princess. Originally a school administrator, after having kids, Aly started living off of her art and doing public speaking.

She'd written many partial manuscripts over the years, but her first published book, Campfires and Canines, was written to prove her husband wrong. But then it went viral on social media, bookstores were ordering it, and she was invited to signings - Aly realized she'd accidentally manifested a career as an author. 

Campfires and Canines was written in 2023 and published in early 2024, and since then, Aly has written epic high fantasy, witchy small town romance, historical western fantasy, and high spicy why choose omegaverse. Her books are full of green flag men (mostly), cozy settings, yummy food, and mental health representation.
